1 package fiddlehead ferns
1 TBSP oil (olive or vegetable)
1 TBSP Spice by Rachel Sweet BUTTERY AUTUMN MIX
Rinse the fiddleheads well in a colander to remove excess plant matter. Trim the ends slightly (the stalks are completely edible!). Add the oil to a pan and set to medium heat. Add the ferns and cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the tablespoon of BUTTERY AUTUMN MIX and cook an additional 5 minutes. Serve as a unique side dish to any main course.
