Hummus

1 can garbanzo beans or chickpeas

1 TBSP olive oil

2 TBSP tahini

1 garlic clove

1 lemon

2 TBSP Spice by Rachel Sweet MASALA MIX

1/2 cup water or vegetable broth



Open the can of beans and dump them into a colander to rinse. Set aside. Peel and rinse the garlic clove. Put this in a blender by itself and close the lid. Turn the blender on its lowest setting to chop up the garlic.


Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. You may have to stop the blender and scrape down the sides occasionally. Serve with veggies or naan bread to dip.
