Mulled Rose Wine

1 bottle rose wine (750 mL)

2-3 TBSP sugar

1 orange or 2 clementines (optional)

1 apple (optional)

1 bag Spice by Rachel Sweet MULLING SPICES

Wash and slice the apple into bite sized pieces. Peel the oranges or clementines and put all the fruit into a pot. Add the entire bottle of wine and the sugar and the bag of MULLING SPICES. Stir everything well to mix and make sure the bag gets saturated in the wine. Turn the heat to medium until just boiling. You will know it is at this point when bubbles form around the outside edge of the liquid in the pot.

When the temperature reaches this point, turn the heat down to the lowest setting and cover. Allow to heat infuse the spices for 30 minutes. Serve warm in mugs or insulated cups. Regular wine glasses can be hot!
