1 pound ground beef or turkey

1 egg

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

2 TBSP Spice by Rachel Sweet SWEET FENNEL MIX

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and set out a baking dish or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

While the oven is heating, put the ground meat in a large bowl. Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat with a whisk or fork. Add to the bowl with the meat and add the breadcrumbs and 2 tablespoons of SWEET FENNEL MIX. Use your hands to mix everything well. Break off small pieces of the meat mixture and form into balls about 1 inch in size. Place these on the baking tray without touching each other.

When all the meatball mixture has been used up, place the meatballs into the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Serve over pasta, topped with tomato sauce and cheese, or as a sandwich or sub.
